And the most important thing to me, is how those two 12's sound. I guess you can see, I'm back home with 12's, and a tube head.

For me anyway, this combination is working out fine. I do like 10's, but nowhere near as much as I like using 12's. The Eminence 12's do have a great sound.

I'm using a GK MB Fusion 500 head, with an Ampeg SVT-212AV cab.

Paul, it's a power monster. I like the workings of it, and it's sounds. Plays well with the 2X12 cab. At 4.5 pounds, I think it sounds better than 65 pounds. With 200 more watts.

Yeah, the weight definitely isn't too shabby. I've only played through the Gallien Kruger 800RB head, but if it's anything like that amp was, then it is a good amplifier, I think. 8)

I like it better than the GK 700RB ll, I had. There's a lot of good heads out out there, but I'm not regretting going with this GK MB Fusion 500. It pounds nice with the 2X12's.

I'm using Eden gear these days.
D112XST cab on bottom, D112XLT on top.
Amps are WTX500 on top and TN226 on bottom.
Played my '15 Am Std Precision that day too. What a fine bass that is!

I won the TN226 last month in a contest online. My first chance to use it was at an outdoor gig so I brought the 500 watt amp along in case I needed more power. Turns out I didn't.
I really like these separate 112 cabs. Two cabs are enough for almost any gig and one does well at small to medium clubs.

When and where did you get this amp?
