Reminds me of waiting for some various service calls, they always give a 4 hour window or so.

This is even worse than that. They start doing deliveries at about 9:30, 10:00 in the morning, until about 6:00 - 6:30.

Yeah, you'd have to wait at home all day, unless you feel confident about your packages sitting on your porch if you weren't at home.

Some get shipped signature required, so you have to be there. The way around that, I have a FedEx store about a mile from the house. The it's in shipping process, I go online and change the delivery to the FedEx store. That works out good too.

Yeah,....... It really is a pain. When I have a Sweetwater delivery coming, I divert it to the FedEx store. It comes in about 11:30 - noon. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes, and I'm back home with the delivery.

That sounds like a good plan.

Overall it does work out really good. It's safer there, than sitting at my front door if it's not a signature required delivery.

Yeah, because someone might want that package more than you do. :P

I don't know about more than I want it, but they would want it. At least Sweetwater uses an outer carton that the original carton is in. So, it doesn't have Fender in giant letters on the side of the outer carton.

AMS does the same thing. I think that they all do that, or at least I hope they would.

I don't think SA uses an outer carton for their guitar/bass deliveries.

They don't? I think that they should. It's a good idea, I think.

I agree, but I think they just use the factory carton for shipping.

One of these days I'll get another USA Geddy Lee Jazz, and see how they ship it.
