You're not have it delivered? Actually, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, since you go to the shop anyway. It's not like my situation where it's more convenient to order online.

I'm having drop shipped to the store, mainly for the reason that it gets delivered at about 10: in the morning to the store, and residential to the house, about 4:30, to 6:45 the same day. I don't have to wait in the house for the delivery. If it's damaged at the store, they will order another one.

Thank you Paul. The head, and cab match up very well. At 45 lbs., and being a decent, but not over in size, the 115 Neo fits in the back seat of a Corolla S. The Ampeg SVT-410HLF was not close to fitting in too many places. The Precision sounds great through it, in both channels.

Sounds pretty good. I was originally looking at Fender cabs before I got the Carvin 18" cab, but it was the Rumble 15" and not the one you got. I went with the Carvin because it was cheaper and I thought the 18" would be a cool thing to have. Plus, it had a higher power rating and I thought that would work better with that 1000 watt head.

They did me a pretty good deal on the Ampeg cab, toward the Bassman cab. I kinda' liked it at 350 watts RMS, so at 8 ohms I'm getting the matched wattage from the Bassman 500 head. I can do fine with 350 watts. 8)

You would have more of an opportunity to use the 18", and the 1,000 watts. 8) Your 2X10 cab won't hurt having either.

I'm glad this head I'm using temporarily is a loaner. It has some static, etc. I really don't care, like I said it's a loaner until my head comes in.

You think it's dirty electronics causing that, like the pots or something?

I'm thinking it's a soldering issue.

Very nice.
Congrats!!

Watching your posts of late, I get the impression you are the same way with bass amps as I am with guitar pedals. Just gotta try everything.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
