Either one works. There's also Traynor, with their 300 watt all tube option, if you can find one around town, otherwise you'd have to order it online. Their's is actually cheaper and built in Canada. I thought their 800 watt hybrid looked interesting.

I used Traynor in the past. I forgot about Traynor. I'm going to look in on those also.

You're tired of the Ampeg already?

I was checking around, and another Bassman 500 Head was returned with a failure like one I returned.

Update. The Mesa Prodigy is gone (an expensive experiment), replaced by an Ampeg SVT3-Pro. Ditched the heavier Hartke cabs, replaced by a pair of G-K 115 Neo cabs. Best-sounding rig I've had yet.

That looks like a nice set up. 8) I use to have an SVT 3 Pro many moons ago.

(technically some would consider this a Fender product as SWR is Distributed by Fender)
Though I'm not much into using effects, I do have a Boss ME - 20B that I use when needed.

Hi James, I'm just using an Ampeg setup these days.

Half of it is Fender anyway.

It's going to be sitting on a Fender Bassman 115 Neo cab. I tried the head through one. They did a good deal on the 410 cab.

Well, other than the Ric, you'll be back to a full Fender set up.

Yes, it looks that way. The Bassman 115 Neo is on it's way, and I should have it tomorrow, Tuesday morning.
