That should work out to be a fine all around head.

Yeah, I rarely turn up above 3. I joke that the good thing about being a bassist with black neighbors is they only beat on the walls when I stop playing. That's meant to be a complimentary joke not racist. I've told that to my black friends and they just laugh.

Good neighbors can be hard to run across. And the beat goes on! 8)

That's pretty cool. 8) You traded in the other amp, or you get to sell it outright?

I did the return number on it. The HD150 combo was purchased on July 5th, so I had a few day to return it. The 112b cab with the HyDrive 12 in it, I think does fine without a HF Driver.

The HA2500 / 112b is a nice smooth sounding setup. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra $130.00 Buckaroos on the TX300 head, and the HD112 cab. A decent 12", and the EQ make it.

Yeah, I think you got a better deal with that, especially with all of that head's features. 8)

I think so to Paul. The settings I use are pretty simple. Image

Simple, yet a lot of options.

Yes. Absolutely one of the things I'm very much liking about this Hartke head. I do believe what Hartke states in the HA2500 heads manual, about Hartke heads can be used with other brand cabs, but it's designed to play best with Hartke cabs.

Yeah, I'm sure they are engineered to work well with each other. The thing is that they started off just building cabs, so that's probably always been their main thing to begin with.

Yeah, I remember you stating that, how Hartke did start out making cabs. Funny how I seem to have gravitated to the Hartke brand for both head, and cab. The Hartke cabs do seem to be very well constructed. This 112b cab I'd say is made as well as the HD115 cab, I had with the Super Bassman head. I don't think the newer Markbass NY121 cab sounds as good as the 112b does. At one time, the NY121 cab was one cab I though to be a top notch unit.

Yeah, it does seem like a well rounded, put together system. I wish I could afford to get one of those cabs. Who knows, maybe someday.

If you were to acquire a Hartke cab, which one do you think would maybe go for? My HyDrive 112b is a 4 ohm, 300 watts. A bit of a lightweight cab for what you would in all probability need for live shows. It fills my bill for compact ness, and 4 ohms to get the 250 watts out of the HA2500. I've always likes the single 4 ohm cab design with a head, as a half stack, in place of a full stack with two 8 ohm cabs.
