Yeah, I saw that. Do you deal with the VA for that sort of thing? I know they can be problematic, though. My Dad did for certain things when he was still alive, since he was in the Navy.

Hell no, I want to live for a little longer. I go through my wife's insurance from her work. The more I stay away from anything that has a connection to the military, the better I like it.

I'm still liking the Markbass's features, and how basses play through it, with or without the external cab. If I have the funds someday however, I may get another Markbass NY121 cab, like the one I returned to aide in the purchase of the Hofner. Ya' never know. I never know.

That would be cool. an extra 12" speaker is an nice bonus to your sound, for that 2 x 12" combination.

Yes, a second 12 is a real boost. Some day I'll replace the cab to go with the Combo I have. 12's Are the best. No, I'm not biased.

Yeah, I've heard about a lot of crap related to the VA, plus you'd probably have to deal with red tape, being a government thing. I guess if you didn't have any other option, it's there. I do remember seeing a VA hospital in Seminole (it might have been Pinellas Park, which is right next to it,) Florida and someone graffitied "VA Kills" on their wall in red paint.

You know, I wouldn't mind those, either. Especially, one of those 4 x 12" cabs, which I know probably wouldn't be practical for me, but not as bad as an 8 x 10" cab is. They are really not much bigger than a 4 x 10" cab, depending on who made it. But of course, there's the issue of cost, and even finding one in the first place.

Like you just said, the cost, and availability of the 412's. The weight of the 412 cab is going to be more than the 410's. A well made 212 cab can handle some power pretty well.

Yeah VA doctors put my grandfather on medications for high and low blood pressure at the same time. SMH.

What a shame that is. I don't trust anything that involves the government, and medical matters.

Yeah, it seems at the minimum, the left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing in the first place. That's not even getting into all of the other BS.

I think you're going to get that with all aspects of the government, it seems.

Unfortunately you are very correct about that.
