98 SWR Red Head === Epifani 1-15 , Bag End 1-15 band pass ( that covers the 15"ers)

98 GK RB 800 === Ampeg HLF 4-10

00 ? Ampeg SVT 350 === 2 Hartke 4-10 cabs

Thought I better post a photo while I still had this stuff. Neighborhood went south and no telling when it will get boosted.

I hate when that happens and with this economy, few have the ability to move on demand. I hope your stuff stays with you!

My stage rig is an Ampeg SVT 6 Pro with two Ampeg 410 HE cabs. I use an Eden 410C Combo for rehearsals and smaller venues.

Well if that GK 700 is anything like my RB800 with an HLF then I KNOW you got the sound going on. I play my 800 with alll the volumes half way up. How loud do you play your amp usually? I think they just start honkin' half way up. I'm not real familiar with the 700. How many watts is it? Is it a bi- amp?

I've for the most part always used Ampeg cabinets except for a short time when I used my Fender M80 1-15 ( 160 watt) combo for the Moose lodges and Eagles way back when . I still use the combo for practice. It's the one with the built in choros that doesn't work anymore.

The Ampeg HLF I have is a "98" and it is still going strong. I use the horn on mine . The GK RB800 is 300(?) watts to 4ohm and 100(?) watts to 8ohm. It's been a long time since I looked in the back of it at the specs. It's always dark on stage when I use it and the head is in a roadcase.. Either way the rig has plenty of volume and tone for any gig--. I have a "Little Windy" 5 inch fan that I use to blow air directly into the back of the roadcase. It can get pretty hot especially outdooers in the 90degree heat.

In recent years I started using other rigs.

One rig is an SWR Bass 350 " Red Head " and a T-115 Epifani (lightweight) cab and a BagEnd 115 band pass(?) cab.. I haven't had enough time on this rig yet to put it thru all scenarios but I'm sure the thing works just fine in all situations. The Epifani is killer. So is the BagEnd. We all know about SWR. The BagEnd (may be from what someone told me once) a guitar cab for guys with 7 string guitars. It works really nice for bass cab in combination with another cabinet.

Also: 2004 Ampeg SVT 350 (no tubes) with 2 -- 410 (aluminum) Hartke cabinets. This is the tall stack. I don't think they make the 350 anymore.

And= a Behringer "ULTRA BASS" BX3000 with the drop octive button and a Cerwin Vega 115 cab. I had to quit using it with the PA we were using because I'd hit the low button and the system would overload from too much low feed and everything would blow-- then no PA. They got kind of upset with me. Darn bass players!!

Yep- I traded a Jazz bass for the head and the Epifani cab. The Jazz was mint but it didn't come close in sound to my other Jazzes and I didn't want to mess with it . Tried selling it but nobody is buying anything around here.
