Thanks.. its a great small combo.. excellent for pratice, espically if you get the urge to crank it up till the wife and kids complain... then again only the wife complains... kids love it.. my boys run to the end of the street and and can still here it.. shakes everything in the house..very warm tone and sound..

he uses a pick... i automatically discount bassists who use a pick. theres no point to it... it takes away the fun/challenge/point.

Yes and no, the type of music he plays, the sound he wants. That's like saying if you don't double tap as a bass player or slap you're not a bonafide bass player cuz it defeats the challenge of playing bass with just 2 fingers. But like my opinion, everyone has one too
true 8)

Hi Guys, I'm pretty new here. I've been reading everything and posting nothing. I finally got my new Jazz Bass on Monday and I love it. Does anyone else have one of these? Theperfectbass.com sells it as MIM Fender Jazz SE. Ash body and transparent Saphire finish.

Dare I get flamed, but I built this Jazz from Warmoth parts.

(EDITED by ForumAdmin: I'm going to pretend that I didn't just see photos of a FrankenBass with forged Fender decal posted here. :-) -Brad)

I just got another Jazz. The newest one is the Deluxe active. The Blue one is Called a Special Edition Standard. It has a saphire Blue transparent finish over an Ash body. I posted the blue earlier, now here's one of both.

Got mine saturday. It's a blast to play. It's a MIM Jazz Bass Std. I swapped the white pickguard for a off white perloid one.
