It does have a nice, classic look to it. 8) I have to tell you, between my girlfriend telling me that I was dumb for doing it, and all of these Jazz pics and discussions, I'm starting to regret getting rid of my '77 Jazz. I was 21 when I did, so much water under the bridge there.

Well, that actually makes sense from where you're coming from. Those three Jazzes were essentially the same with the maple and unless you're doing a lot of touring, and you need a backup of a bass, instead of one with a totally different tonal option, then that is a way to go. That bass definitely has a 60's vibe to it, and the Geddy Lee more of a 70's, I think. Pretty cool bass. 8)

The sounds of the USA GL, and the Am. Std. are the sounds from the times I'm wanting. The SB/SVT-212AV should lock that in.

I think so too. The main reason I went with this setup. Old man, old habits.

The Jazz came in today. I'll probably post pics tomorrow. I took some pics in the late afternoon, but I don't think I'm going keep those pics. The lighting was poor that time of the day.

Thank you Sir Paul. It looks to be a two board body too. I do like the Am. Std. Jazzes, and I didn't mind getting it for the lower price. Sweetwater keeps getting these in, 3-Color SB/Rosewood Jazzes.

Yep. It's a nice plain, and simple Jazz.

I knew I was going to string it with the Nylons, but it took about 5 seconds after opening the case, to decide what PG to have on it. I like the Black PG.

That does look good on it. How many pickguards do you have?
