Just found this 2004 sitting in a mom and pop music store last week and had to have it.

I strongly advise you invest in some strap-locks :)
Nice bass by the way :)

I'm actually getting rid of this bass as soon as the American Standard comes in. Do you think I should get locks for it too? If so what kind? Are they simple to install?

I have got the Fender strap locks, which are made by Schaller, on all my basses. Super easy on the install. One thing that I do is to use the existing screw from the stock strap button on the new strap lock button. They come with 2 sets of felt washers too.

These are the same minus the felt washers.

You can generally find both sets at a Guitar Center or Sam Ash.

Hi Guys, I'm pretty new here. I've been reading everything and posting nothing. I finally got my new Jazz Bass on Monday and I love it. Does anyone else have one of these? Theperfectbass.com sells it as MIM Fender Jazz SE. Ash body and transparent Saphire finish.

Hi!

This is my baby... I know that pics are bad, but I don't have time to make better pics. This Jazz is 1978. and sounds great... All parts are original except frets. They have been changed in 2005.
