I'd like that too. We usually only see block inlaid necks on American Deluxe or 70's Reissue. They really dress up the neck nicely. That's why I wanted the MIJ Jazz I have. It's very rare to find natural finish with a maple board and cream block and binding. I drooled over it when I first saw it and had to have it, even though I thought I might replace the pups, which I eventually did.
I still want an American Standard someday too, but I think the MIJ is pretty close.
