Oh yeah, four 10 inch speakers will make things rattle. If I crank up my Hartke, my dog goes outside and my neighbor will complain.

That bass has alot of mojo.

This has to be the most awesome looking bass out there. Period. Makes my (coming) 2011 model look like such a virgin. So, all I need to do it play it for 40 years and drink and smoke around it, right? :)

"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real." -- Velveteen Rabbit

This looks like a REAL bass!

Now THAT is disturbing. I hate the thought of where the "tip" of it is pointing. :)

Cool job done, though. Wonder how it sounds?

The one on the left is a Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass 24 V 5 which I just got recently. It does not have the original pre in it.. it has a John East U-retro Deluxe pre in it.This bass was on the Fender pricelist from 2005-2009 I believe. The 5 was introduced in 2007. The one on the right is my first real bass.. a "77 Jazz bought new at Alex Axe in N.Y.C. in March of '77 for $457 ... I still have the receipt and the original hardware... My daughter who is now 20 put that sticker on there when she was 5 ... The pick gaurd is not the original, which was black. For a time I removed it.. and when I went to put it back on it broke at the top where it extends around the neck....

Here's a pic of my 1992 Jazz. I bought it new and it's still my primary bass.
Kind of plain looking compared to most, but it sure plays well and sounds great. :D

Some great basses. That Midnight Wine Mexican is a beauty.
Here's mine - 2010 MIJ 75 Reissue.
