I think this is the few colors that actually look good with a white pg.

For images that are on your computer, you will need to find an image hosting site such as photobucket. Create an account and upload your photos there, you can resize them to message board size(640X480, I think). Once uploaded(if you're using photobucket), look under the photo at the 4 different links. Click on "IMG code" and it will copy it for you, then come here and paste away. You won't need to use the "IMG" button on here if you do it like I described since it already puts the [IMG]'s where they need to be.
Hope this can help.

^^ How much did it cost you to get the Orange amp, if you don't mind me asking?

The O.C. 20W was like $130.A very nice sounding amp.I played the 35w one in the store and it rocked too.

Cool, I was looking for a practice amp, I was looking for Ibanez SW 20 but if I can geta OC for the same price I'd rock that instead.

It's a good investment and it sounds good too.In fact I might stay with this brand when I move up to bigger amps.I don't think you'll be disappointed.

What do y'all think of this one? '84-'87 MIJ Jazz Bass Special. I just picked it up on Craigslist for $300. It has EMG's as an aftermarket add on.

Next to my PRS (just kidding - it's a cheap Hamer)

^^^ I like those vintage MIJ, mine is the "Power", which back then meant I had the actives on.

Guys,
I probably have one of the weirdest Fender Bass Guitars that you've ever heard of. I have always loved the feel of the Fender Precision Bass Neck and the sound of the Fender Jazz Bass Body. One day in 1989 I took a big gamble and combined the two with some odd modifications. I was on the road with a band out of Corpus Christi, Texas (Southern Reign) and we had two weeks off in Golden, Colorado. We had just hired a new guitarist that needed to learn our songs. I decided to split the time rehearsing with him and working on the bass. The guitar player turned out to be a much better instrument luthier/repair tech than a guitarist, so I was in good hands.
He put the 1972 Fender Precision Neck on the 1976 Fender Jazz Body. About this time another friend that I trusted turned me on to the Carvin Company products. I replaced the stock Jazz pickups with Carvin Stacked Jazz Pickups and I also ordered a Carvin 5-String bridge. 5 String bridges were kind of hard to find back then.
Scott put in a brass nut cut for 5 strings on a 4 string neck and drilled a hole for the new machine head through the Fender headstock logo. He was devastated that I would do that, but he did it anyway. I also put a HipShot
D-Tuner Machine head where the low E string goes. Since that Carvin bridge had rollers to move the saddles left or right, it worked perfectly for the Low E and High C string to be moved all the way in.
I have fairly small hands, so the string spacing worked out great. Scott did all of this work in a motel room with a dremmel tool, screwdrivers, glue, sandpaper and a lot of trial and error. I have been using this bass since 1989 and these days I am completely lost on a 4 string or "real" 5 string bass. If someone could please tell me how to post a picture I would show you. The only pictures that I have are partial shots, but there may be enough of the guitar to get the idea.
I bought a Fender Jazz Fretless Bass made in Mexico in 1996 and have since put the Precision neck on that body since it is considerably lighter.
Anyway, I hope that I haven't bored you too much with all of this.
Joe Alford
