Just wanted to provide some info about recent work I had done on my AmDlx 5. I was experiencing some wear from using roundwound strings. The repair options were epoxy or superglue. I opted for superglue because it was a little cheaper, and in the opinion of my guitar tech, protected the neck every bit as well. I also figured that if I ever needed to touch it up, it would be easier to fix. Anyway, the neck plays like an ice rink now right after the Zamboni. The superglue has a little bit of a sheen. I could have gone "gloss" but I don't really like that much reflection. I also think that the fingerboard is lighter now, but that could just be that new wood is now exposed due to the sanding, and will darken over time. On a cosmetic level, I would give the superglue about an 8 or 9. There is some unevenness to the sheen, but nothing that affects playability. I would say that if you're after a mirror effect, then just put on more superglue.

Anyway, for the leveling and superglue, plus some other adjustments, I paid $125.00. I live in a town of about 250,000 if you need a price reference. Hope this info helps anyone considering similar work.
