a few days ago I hear the jaguar bass from youtube and I really like it, but I can't find the same feeling from the instrument shop as I heard from the youtube. Kindly want to ask could somebody help me find which year is the bass in the film? doesn't fender make good jaguar now?

Well, I do believe the Jaguar bass is only really a few years old at the most, I doubt it's a matter of the one on Youtube being better than the one in the shop. You need totrake into consideration the amp it's played thru and how it's set up, the room your playing in, the strings that might be on the thing, any number of reasons why it doesn't sound the same.

Yeah, there haven't been any variants on the Jaguar bass. I believe Gearwire generally does a direct input recording unless they're testing an amp. The amp you were playing through at the store might have colored the sound in an undesirable way.

That, too. All I can suggest is that you try to play it in the store thru the amp closest to what you have, or what you intend to get. Or, even better, as many different amps as the store will let you try. That will give you a better idea as to the bass's potential.
I wouldn't rely on a video from Youtube to decide. Live and in person is better.
