Ok so bought my first fender back in September, and I love it.

I wanna get a nice amp, something big, like a 15inch or something. Whats the best thing i could get for under $500.

I play alot of older music, nothing really new, since I dont like the way newer bands play. What strings should I be looking at? The guy who helped me get my gear set when I bought my fender, said he uses the DR black beauties and he thinks they are great for a pretty great price. Im trying to spend under $30 but if you say DR's ill be willing to pay the price for them, which at my guitar center, they are $35

Also it seems like my E string from the 7th fret area and up, is "vibrating", Im not sure how to explain it. But Its like buzzing or vibrating. It didn't happen when I first got the bass. Once again the guy who helped me with the purchase, said just to bring it in (i got a service plan on it, so it would be free to get it checked out), and something might need to be filed down or something.

Sorry if I couldn't provide enough information, but let me know and ill try and give you any information you might need.

Thanks,
Andrew

Yea, I didn't really think of amps like that. I will defiantly need a combo amp, cause i dont have a head.

As long as I can try it and see how it sounds, would buying a used one be a good idea? Like off of craigslist or even in guitar center?

And is there any way to find sheet music online? or is that illegal because it like copyrighted and such. Im trying to get away from tab, so i can practice more and more with music.

I looked up those fender rumble 150's and it seems like what I want. Samash has them for $349 when they get them in.

Also I found a couple rumble 100's on craigslist. Around $250.
