I was wondering what a singlecut Jazz would look like so I got creative with photoshop last night.

Here's the result:

When I posted it on a bassplayer forum, people seemed to actually LIKE this. Personally I think it looks WRONG and it is blasphemy! lol.

What do you guys think about a singlecut monster Jazz?

Cheers, Marco

Is it just me or does it look a bit like a sperm-whale?

My first thought was it looked like a dolphin, but the sperm whale photo summed it up pretty good. Please don't ever show that ghastly photo again!!

Hey -not so fast- If you take off the pickguard, give it a flame maple veneer top and headstock- Fender could charge 3 to 4K $ for that sucker. LOL

Is that more or less than they charge for sperm whales?

I think the single-cutaway with a white pickguard would look killer, as in killer whale. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Actually the single-cutaway is an interesting idea but imho one more appropriate to an instrument with 6 or more strings.
