So, i Got home from practicing with a band I'm in and i played my bass at my comp as usual, i go to put it away and the knobs gone, i searched around and found the knob (treble). But of course the screw is missing and i cant find it:x . I was Wondering, where i could find these screws/ how to measure how big the screws needs to be. I use a American Standard 2009 Fender Jazz Bass. Thanks for your help in advance

Possibly be easiest to buy a new knob. On the parts list for the 2009 American Standard Jazz the set screws are not listed separately. By "TREBLE" I'm guessing you mean the one smaller knob which I call the tone knob. I really don't think the set screw is available separately. You could buy the replacement knob, remove the set screw and reinstall it on your original knob, but I think I'd just change the entire knob.

That tone knob is Fender part number 0019513000 and it is listed as "Knob, Skirted, Small, Black" on the American Standard Jazz parts list.

If I misunderstood and it is one of the larger knobs you should get Fender part number 0019455000 which is described as "Knob, Skirted, Large, Black (2)" on the parts list.

There are multiple sources for the knobs, the dealer where you bought your instrument is one, other Fender dealers and online through a multitude of sources. It would be best to support the local shops plus save on shipping charges the online dealers charge. If you don't have a local shop or the local shop can't or won't help you fill your need, then here's one online source for the individual tone knob:
http://www.darrenriley.com/shop/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=1090
And for the larger volume knob:

Some online sellers Jazz Bass knobs in a complete knob pack of all 3 knobs such as: http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/guitarknobs_fender.htm
But I don't see any point in buying 3 knobs when you only really need one.

Another source is the eBay.com, but again there are those pesky shipping fees. There also are some knockoff knobs out there. I'd stay away from those.

Good luck!

Honestly, take it to your local hardware store if knob is in good condition and not busted up well, use it! Just go to one of those knowledgeable handymen that work @ your local hardware store God knows they have way too many kinds of screws, nuts and bolts there. >_< GL

Rush Anthem, let us know if you find an exact replacement set screw at the hardware store. Good luck on that.

Or if you have a local luthier/setup guy, try them.

I have a shop that I use for setups/repairs and they hooked me up when I needed one of those tiny little screws for a bridge saddle. No charge.
