I think that your bass is not a genuine Fender Jazz bass but it is a replica thas was built in some Asian country, possibly the Phillipines. The decal on the neck has been applied to this fake bass to fool the ignorant buyer who doesn't know what a Fender bass looks like.
There were lots of fake Fenders made in the 60's and 70's in the Phillipines and they were sold to unsuspecting American service men who brought them home and thought they were genuine Fenders. They obviously are not genuine.

The bridge is a crude two piece bridge that was never used on American made Jazz basses.
The knobs are wrong and the dimensions of the body, pickguard and finger rest are incorrect.
I see that it only has one pickup. A real fender Jazz bass has two pickups which is the reason for two volume controls and one tone control.
I could go on, but if you go to a music store and compare your bass to a 60's Jazz bass, you will see the differences.

I hope that you didn't pay very much for this bass.
If you like playing it, then go for it.
Good luck with your bass.

Yep. Definitely a "Hooch" bass. Good call BC.

Not only did they copy the guitars but also the amps!
