I want to change the stock white one to either a tortoise or a black pickguard...are the 'fender jazz bass pickguards' that you see on eBay all the exact size?

I read in another thread that MIM and MIA pickguards are not interchangeable, but that seems odd... anyone have any experience in this?

Thanks in advance!

Great site!

Thanks for sending me that link - is there anything that is closer to home (Canada or the US)?

Thanks!

I recently bought the tort. shell for my MIM as long as you get one with the correct amount of holes you should be fine. I have vintage pups on it and had to lightly file a bit to get around the bridge pup. Came out great.
