ok, a series of event in the past few months have led me to believe that my jazz bass is indestructable (not that im going out of my way to break it or anything).

Its been stepped on,
Smack into a ceiling,
taken a chip out of the paint in the wall
Been hit by an S.G.
and smacked into the headboard of my bed.

it doesnt have a mark on it!
so really im wondering if anyone can give me some insight into this i figure its probably something to do with the finish.

P.S. im expecting a badass ii in the next few days. trust me they are difficult to come by in ireland. Just boasting about that really

Thanks in advance

what do you think of the skb one, ive been thinking of investing in one. Will the bass fit in it if it has one of those chrome things over the pickup or will it be too tall?

My MIM has been quite hardy over her eight years as well. A couple of tiny scratches in the outermost coat of finish, but that's it. I played bass for the indoor percussion ensemble at my high school one year, and one day before rehearsal a huge wooden flat which was part of the show was very carelessly set down with one end of it on the headstock of my bass. It took four people to move this thing across the room and put it there, and me and only me to grab it by the end and throw it off to the side and away from my bass when i saw it happen. I'll skip the part about the confrontation that followed. Luckily, the only part of the axe which was touched by the flat was the G-string tuning machine. I replaced it, and now six years later, this is still my primary bass.

Hi,

Yes it will fit with the pickup cover and bridge cover too. The new Fender cases are REALLY nice BTW. Good protection.
