Why are the 24 fret FENDER jazz basses not being acknowledged by this site, musicians friend and sweetwater? it does have the Fender logo. Need an answer I have one and bought because it said Fender should I get rid of this bass?

The 24 fret went to discontinue land, along with the aero p and the big block p. If you like the bass, no reason to get rid of it. Just 'cus it's discontinued doesn't mean it's not a fender.

we keep this up Zod, he'll have the full retail price before he decide to really sell the thing...which I think it's a great bass, CIK or not.

 Hey,

its being used right now in a praise and worship band I play in those guys like the low B and C. I really like my MIM jazz deluxe but they say the 24 sounds fatter. So for now it stays with me.

CATH YOU ON THE DOWNLOW,

I have one and I go back and forth with getting rid of it. It is so easy to play but man it just doesn't sound like a jazz. Those bass lines just don't cut it for me. I think if you put it out there depending on the condition you should be able to get $500. They are still trying to sell the left overs for $600-$750 at the stores. I bought mine on impulse for the 24 but I would get rid of mine for 500 if possible.
