I recently purchased a beat up 70's Jazz Bass case from my local dealer. It said Fender and was the right price so I bought it. Unfortunatly it is missing feet and keys and needed minor repairs. Unfortunatly the feet aren't cheap. But finding a key for it is proving difficult. The new keys don't fit.

Does anyone have a set of these keys that they could part with? Or even just one. I know. I know. It is pointless to lock the case. But little hands find they're way into nice bass cases sometimes.

I have a bunch of those old style case keys somewhere. There is not much to them. A metal bobby pin will open up any of those latches if locked.

I would put a bungie cord around the case and tell the little ones- Hands OFF!

BTW- You may be able to get the feet and keys at a luggage repair shop.
I didn't think those feet would be very expensive. Re- doing the leather ends would probably be pricey - If your case has real leather, that is.
