hellooo

i'm about to change the stock strings on a '62 reissue jazz bass to super soft scale (.040, .060, .075, .095)

what am i going to have to do with the truss rod?

Since those are a lower tension, if anything you'll have to loosten the truss rod to make more bow. However, you ultumatly have to play it by ear. That's not a huge difference in guage, and if you do need to adjust it will probably be a very small adjustment.

+1 on the info Anubis gave you. Put the strings on and wait a couple of days to see if the truss will require adjusting.
