Hi guys, could anyone tell me if Fender did Sage Green Metallic finish on a 97 jazz bass 5 string,i own this bass but some people say it's Inca Silver, but it has a very light Green colour IMHO so i'm wondering which one it is,could the Inca Silver have yellowing due to age?is this why it looks green to me?let's see if i can clear this up!!thanks. Here are some pics.

have any pics? I know the colors don't always translate well in photos, but if it has just a slight tint to it, it's probably just from age.

It's tough to say, but I think your friends are right about it being Inca Silver. As I recall the sage green metallic is a little more obvious in person than the Fender color chart photo. If you want, you can email Fender support and give them the serial #. I've done it a few times with used guitars that I found either on ebay or in pawn shops and they have always been able to tell me exactly what I had and all the proper specs and options for the year it was manufactured. YOu can reach them @ consumerrelations@fender.com

Like I said, they have always had whatever info I needed when it comes to modern Fender products.
