Hello there!

Here's my two cents:

For bass chorus you cannot go wrong with the Boss Bass Chorus (CEB-3)...i've used one for over 3 years now and it's never let me down. It's a subtle effect but really fattens up the sound.

As for reverb...well i don't really use reverb on bass. When i do i use a Digitech reverb. You would be wise to check all the main makers of reverb stomp boxes, if your budget stretches, go for a luxury genuine tape pedal or even a fender reverb unit.

Hope i have been helpful :d

I just bought a SansAmp Tech 21 and really like the boost and effects.
I also own a Korg ToneWorks AX10B but rarely use it...too many configurations. I like dependability and keeping it simple.

If you're just looking for something to mess around with, the Zoom B1 effects pedal has about 40 different effects, 40 drum beats, a built in tuner. I don't think I would ever gig with this thing although I'm considering putting it straight thru the PA at this open mike night I attend and cranking up the drum machine and just laying down cool grooves with all the different effects. It doesn't sound great thru an amp but hanging out in your room with the headphones on messing with the drums and differnt effects, you'll put in a 3 hour practice like it was nothing. If anything a great tool to keep you working on your chops. There's probably 4 or 5 different reverb settings to get back to your original question. I like it but like I said, it would probably sound awful at high volumes thru a good amp. thru headsets, it's great. I'm going to try it thru a PA one day soon. Oh and did I mention, they're dirt cheap. Sam Ash was giving them away if you purchaed an Ampeg Head and Cab. You can get one for about $59.
