Real important to me. I am seriously thinking of buying one, cant try one anywhere near me. It's just that with a lightweight body and those big tuners I'm thinkin maybe there's a bit of neck dive.
Thanks for any opinions, export and non export models, whatever you have!

:D I have both a J&P aeodyne export basses. Both are great instruments. I've had the J for 3 years and the P for 2. I use both basses for an average 40 to 45 shows a year. The J bass is balanced perfectly. With a 3 inch padded strap I can play for hours and forget that it weighs 7 - 8 #s. I put the bass on my shoulder and it stays there with no neck dive. My P bass plays equaly well. It has a heavier "c" neck than the J bass and is a little neck heavy but not bad enough to keep you from picking one up. Y a gotta try them. You will like them.
