Hi there,

totally agree on the new website Like.
However i do not use the Victor Baily rig, I'm more into the new USA Deluxe.

I would, it looks awesome! But a bit too costly for one bass. I think I would generally buy a decent one, but not overly expensive, and gradually modify it to my liking. Besides, I'm not a lot into signature basses, but that could change.

Still, that bass you mention is awesome.

I'll post shortly some images of my VB bass. I've now played tour with it, and it never let me down. Very good bass, and while it is signature bass, if you need a bass, that can sound as regular jazz bass, but as well produce tones likes MusicaMan Stingray or Rickenbacker, the built of the VB bass, provides this flexibility (woods of the instrument)
The preamp isn't very advanced, but maybe that is even good, since, I would rather have very simple active or even passive bass, with analog pedals and good preamp/head, then uber-advanced built-in preamp - even it it's versatile, it will run out of new sounds very soon.

I recently picked up a Victor Bailey V. Guy in my area was selling it on Craigslist for 1500. I went to check it out thinking it was too good to be true and the bass and the case it came with still had plastic on them. He even through in a MXR octave down pedal, but I don't really know what I'm going to do with it (the pedal, not the bass).

That is a great buy man! Now it's going for 2999 everywhere! I was lucky to buy it in year of 60th anniversary, maybe you have the sticker on the rear of the headstock with 60th in diamond shape?
Congratulations on your bass, and the pedal as well!
