I'm the proud owner of a lovely MIM Deluxe Jazz with Noiseless pickups. Don't get me wrong - with the active electronics, I can get some pretty good sounds. But, always looking to push the sounds to the next level. Anyone have any recommendations for something that can outperform the stock Noiseless Fenders?
Something like DiMarzio, Fralin, SD? Not interested in EMG - I just don't care for the sound - or look for that matter.
Let me know the model numbers you've used and what your experiences were/are.
Thanks! TB

I'd recommend Nordstrands for passive pickups and if you'd still consider actives take a look at the new EMG-X pickups, which address some of the complaints folks had about the previous generation of EMGs.

Selo - thanks for the reply. I'll try to check out the EMG-X. Do you know if they make a pre-amp/harness combo for those?
I acutally woke up again to my USA Noiseless pups - all it took was a change to DR Sunbeams. Man, what a difference.
But, always listening to see what else is out there. Thanks again. T

Look here. DR Sunbeams are indeed nice. Lately I've enjoyed using D'addario Chromes, a type of flatwound strings.
