So I have been playing for over 25 years and I notice the Jazz bass isplayed in so many different styles of music from metal to funk to blues ect I believe it is the most versatile bass I have ever played ! Agree or Disagree ?

Also agree... I've been doing this for a very long time and the only other bass that comes anywhere close to the Fender ® Jazz Bass for features and flexibility of style might be the Michael Tobias Design ® MTD-435. However, the price of the MTD guitars is a bit elevated for the average bassist... with a $4000.00 starting price plus options.

The Fender ® Jass Bass is a quality instrument that will do everything that you need it to do. :)

Absolutely.I've played and recorded every type genre of music that there is and have never,ever had an engineer say to me can you bring a different bass to the session.Hell if anything if I showed up with anything different I was told take out the Jazz bass or else go home,however I must admit that there were a couple request for the MusicMan Sabre/ Stingray.......fair enough,but other than that it was the P Bass or the Jazz Bass or forget about it,and that's our lesson for today.
