This is probably a dumb question, but all I have owned have Jazz Basses, what is the difference between a Jazz and a Precision? I know that the precision has the bigger neck and the Jazz has a smaller neck. Could somebody please help me? Thanks!!!!!

jazzes have thinner necks and more tonal variety. they also look cooler. they also buzz.

pbasses have wider necks and less tonal variety. they dont buzz, and have a meatier sound.
