Well, I just got mine, so right now everything is stock. But I will play around with different types of strings. I also want a better-looking pickguard as the white one looks a bit cheap. Maybe find some nice, discreet stickers to use around the edges.

Plus I might change the pickups eventually, and the tuner heads to have a locking system. Maybe change the bridge but I really don't see a problem with this one, so I might not.

I have 2 blond Jazz Basses one is a 1969 & one is a 1976. NO MODS all stock. fender makes great basses, the old ones are classic! Why would you need or want to mod them?

because some people buy Fender because the like Fender, but Fender doesn't give the sound they need for the music they play.

I've had many Fender Jazz Basses over the years. I usually left them stock but now that I have a website where I review guitars, I was sent a control mod for the Jazz Bass. I bought a Classic Vibe from Guitar Center and WHAM! This bass ROCKS! I'm now giving the bass with the mod away so if you're interested in entering to win it, please do.

So if you're not familiar with Awesome Musical Instruments Jazz Hyper-Mod, you gotta check them out.

If you'd like to read the review you can check it out here: http://sharemyguitar.com/blog/smg-review-awesome-instruments-jazz-bass-hyper-mod/

This bass blew me away. The Fender Vibe is unbelievable for the price and the mod doubles the analog tones you get with the stock setup. I'm giving the modded bass away to one random person. Enter here for your chance to score the bass package: http://sharemyguitar.com/blog/contests-2/
