Even if you find a used Geddy, you should be happy with it.

I too have one of these and have had nothing but compliments on its appearance and tone. I also replaced the white pickguard with a black one as I have always dug the black-on-black look. The block inlays scream '70s and most bass players ask me, "What year is it?" I put BadAss bridges on all my basses (the sustain is insane), so this one saved me that upgrade.

Used, these basses sell anywhere from $400 to $700 dollars, so shop around and you will likely find one far under the list price ($1299, but GC has them for $999).
