That sound can come from different sources like a loose screw from the bridge , a loose bridge saddle, loose nuts, loose tuners, loose pickguard, too low action ,a misadjusted neck, a fret that is not leveled, normal string harmonics(like when new).

Like contrabassist pointed out, can you hear it with the bass disconnected? You can get a automotive stethoscope available cheap from any autoparts and use it to find the ringing noise.

I heard the ringing noise and to me it sounds like the springs from the bridge saddles , check to see if they are loose? If loose try to expand them with a pair of pliers.

If not ,try to get the stethoscope to find the source of the ringing.

Are the tuners loose from the gears? That too can make that sound! check the nut , if its too deep in the string grooves ,the strings can touch on the first fret . Is the truss rod nut loose ?

for sure it's the neck because my Marcus Miller V does the same thing and I'm convinced that the Posiflex rods that Fender has in the neck for ( socalled ) stability is the cause of this.
