Just a question, ive been thinkin about upgrading my Mexican standard series jazz and i'm wondering, does the badass II bridge fit directly onto it?

I know it's meant to be a direct fit to the American series, but want to know for definite if this will be a relatively easy mod that wont mean I have to drill any new holes or anything

Peace :D

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, The BadAss Bass Bridge II is a direct fit on the MIM Jazz Bass.

I Have 2 basses with Badass bridges. One is the BadAss III, the other the BadAss II. I love 'em both.

Excellent :D So what are your opinions on it? Is it a worth while upgrade, does it make much of a difference to sustain and tone?

Some of the peeps here do not like it. I like the improvements in tone and sustain - some say we're bass players, not lead guitarist, I say, with an open note and playing the octave or the 5th, I want the sustain :) . The look is very nice too. Good luck, show us pix before and after.

check out this video of my Squier fretless jazz bass equipped with a badass II bridge, the tone! Wow what a difference! It’s just a bridge but the sound is so pure… The PUNCH, and sustain…. Just check out the video http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseacti ... d=35735220
