I heard two different potentionmeter used in Fender and Squire.
250K and 500K.
Does it affect the tone of bass ?
What's different, if any ?
thank you.

I dont remember why or where I read that the 500k pots will give more clarity or highs than the 250k pots . I do know that EMG pickups use 500k pots in their wiring kits . Maybe thats where I read about their use . If PJB still has the wiring diagram He can verify .
