I've finally saved up enough for a Jazz Am Std and I've narrowed the finish options down to:

1. Olympic White
2. Black
3. Sunburst

If it was you, which would you go for?

Thanks in advance

I'm waiting for my new bass, and it's O White. White is the new black don't you know :D . Any one of those colors are nice. My '87 is black.

I have a sunburst and a black.

I noticed this week that under stage lights, the black shows every fingerprint.

Ok thanks for the input guys!

I'm kinda leaning towards black at the moment. Any thoughts on the neck - maple or rosewood?

That should have been what lead to your color selection, knowing what board you're using.

Surf around music store websites in the Fender basses you're bound to hit one of every color scheme mix-match that you want. 8)

If you go with black, you gotta get the maple fretboard, and change out the pickguard to a black one.

If you go with 3TS. then it's gotta be rosewood. That is such a classic look.

But do not rule out Olympic White and rosewood. Also classic.

My choice would be black, then 3TS.

Thanks guys, especially zod for the visuals!

All 3 look great so I'll probably just flip a coin in the end. As soon as it arrives I'll post pictures!

wow!! that is one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make!! if you choose the wrong one, you will regret it for life  so my advice to you is to get all 3 :D

my real advice is black & maple; White & rosewood,; sunburst & rosewood. if you already have a bass with one of those colours, maybe try picking a different colour, so you will have like a black and white one, instead of 2 black ones.

Olympic White w' Maple neck.

I own a 3TS, and I plan on getting a Deluxe V in O White, with Brown Tortoiseshell Pickguard, and then a maple neck.
