I just looked at their website, and I don't think it is the one I was thinking about. I think they had a different name, but I can't remember. Musician's something. It was a total web store, like AMS, where you can buy everything online. I'll try to find it, if they are still around.

OK, I found it right after my last post. It was this place, in Jupiter, FL: https://www.musiciansbuy.com/

Jupiter is at the northern end of Palm Beach County. I never heard of that store. That's a bit over an hour or so, on the turnpike, or on I-95 to get there from where I'm located at the southern end of Palm Beach County. Palm Beach County is the largest county in land volume in the country.

I take it that it's a haul then. Sometimes I forget what a huge friggin' state Florida actually is. It would probably take at least 4 or 5 hours to get from where I used to live in St. Petersburg to where you are. I remember it was a 4 hour drive to get to where ever I went to in Fort Lauderdale, having to go over the Skyway Bridge and all of that. You ever do much traveling to the west coast, and go over the Skyway? I remember when I was a kid when that barge hit it and collapsed with some people getting killed. I think that was 1980 or 1981, around there.

No, I hardly ever get to the west coast. Like you say, FL is really a big state to get around in. I remember that barge hitting the bridge. That was big news. It seems to take forever to get to the FL / AL line when we go up to see our daughter in Tuscaloosa.

I remember going across it after it collapsed, and they had the other side open, before they built the replacement one. It was kind of eerie seeing where that huge gap was, knowing what happened. 35 people were killed because of it. Imagine being in the vehicle right before where the rest went in. Talk about your guardian angels being with you that day, and having to change your drawers.

How many hours does it take typically for you to get there to Alabama? You're going through the whole state, and going from east to west, there.

12 - 13 Hours to get to Tuscaloosa. The ride on I-10 is a long ride too.

Yeah, that's a haul. You drive straight through, or do you stop at all?

We take Apollo with us, so he needs some time to lift his leg, etc. Just like us. Well Mrs. Nylon doesn't lift her leg, but you know what I mean. I drive the turnpike to end, pickup I-75, then get to I-10 west, to exit #130 north. We do gain an hour because of the time change to central time, at the Apalachicola River. That's at, or about at mile marker #165.

That's true, they go back an hour, don't they? So in a sense, you are time travelling. :P Speaking of that, I think Sunday we have to mess with the clocks that don't do it themselves. I just wish they'd do away with that crap already. It's not like the farmers don't have electricity and lighting these days.

I KNOW! And even back whenever, farmers didn't watch the clock. They went by the SUN! They worked from sunup, till sundown. Like everything else, not even time is left alone the way it should be, without people screwing with it. Time zones, fine. NOT DST.

Exactly, I wish they'd just leave it alone already. I know Arizona and Hawaii don't recognize or go by it, but that's not the case for the rest of the 50 states. I did hear of one time or another about a bill here in Rhode Island about doing away with it, but I don't think it went anywhere, or even was submitted.

Some of these morons down here want to keep DST active all year. Image

I'm like just keep it at one time and don't mess with it. No falling back, or springing forward, just keep it at one or the other and leave it there.

I totally agree. Time is time, and leave it alone.
