On both of those, the manufacturers don't really go out of their way to accommodate the wants, or needs of the prospective buyers for either. Image

I guess it all boils down to what makes them the most money. It does seem like being left-handed is almost like some form of leprosy or something, and has been like that as far as I remember.

Yeah, it is pretty much a right handed world. One of the more famous designs that was left handed, and has stayed that way, Samuel Colt's revolver. Colt was left handed, so when he wanted to load, or do workings with the revolver, it was designed for the left hand to hold it, and the right hand to work the loading port on the right side of the revolver. Sam Colt pulled that one over on everyone.

I never knew that. Now that you mention it, I can see that being the case.

I noticed it one day, when I was looking over a Colt .45 Long Colt I had at the time.

Was that an old, black power one, or modern version you had?

It was a smokeless powder cartridge 3rd generation Single Action Army revolver. .45 Long Colt, 4&5/8 barrel, with a case harden frame. A darn good shooter as well.

I think Colt is still making those. I know there's the whole Cowboy Action Shooting thing.

I think Colt is still in Hartford, Conn.

Yeah, I believe so. A lot of those manufacturers have moved from places like that because of the politics involving issues related to that. I suppose I couldn't blame them, if that's the case.

They get drug into lawsuits just because they manufactured a product. That's garbage.

Yeah, I've read about that. Even that is politically motivated, I think.

It's very politically motivated, but I won't get into it here, as its out of place here, and by right, isn't allowed on here as well.

Now! On to this garbage non-Fender Epi EB-0 bass. Image ImageImageImageImage
No. My EB-0 is my constant. It's my return to 1970 all over again. I hoping the Fender Rumble 100C, will be the exact answer for the amp.

Yeah, I usually avoid most if not all political discussions these days on line. It's just not worth it to get into it with anyone. I just vote when it's time to vote and just keep it at that. Not that it would probably make a huge difference, but then at least I can say I've earned my right to complain, if I do. :P

Well, you do have a very 60's/ early 70's rig going on there with the both of them, I think. You could play in some 60's tribute band and your gear would fit right in, but the cool thing about it, is that it's also good for all kinds of stuff.

I do the same when election day comes around, for the exact same reason.

You're right. I do, or will have the appropriate gear from that time, when I pick up the 100c. Ironic to that the wattage was 100 watts average back at that time. A lot more tube stuff though. Bassman heads were 100 watt heads. Even the tube 2X12 combos sounded fairly loud. I don't remember what the wattage was on my 2X12 Kent Combo, but it was a pretty crappy used bass amp when I got it. It worked though. It got me through my band's first job. A three piece lead, bass, and drums. That was 50 years ago last June. It was about our last two weeks before school was out for the summer. My junior year. You would've thought we were, Cream, Hendrix, or Blue Cheer. But we were lousy.
