That was 4 months before I was born. I imagine you probably got caught with the metal from the tuners with that. I guess it was just the timing of everything happening at once.

The tuners, and the Gibson SG top of the head. It did actually push me away, and down on the stage floor. Won't get fooled again.

More like lanced with it. Yeah, somewhat jabbed. All I know is, it knocked me flat on my back for a second.

That left a scar, as well?

It hit the chin hard enough to break the skin. The top of the head banged really hard on the edge of my chin. (Jaw bone) That made shaving the chin in that area a real PITA for a good while.

That was probably the biggest event on a big stage going wrong, as a show played out, that I can remember dealing with.

There have been some Epi Jack Cassidy players complaining about low volumes on their basses. I surely have no issues with the EB-0 cranking out the volume. I know it's just not the the EQ that has my EB-0's volume up there. It sounds thunderous through a couple of other combos, not just the Hartke. Image

I suppose it could have been worse, though. You didn't have a lighting rig fall on you, or something like that.

Low volume issues? They mean the pickup on them are pretty weak?

The low volume in the JC basses could be from the pups, a pot, or capacitor. Or maybe even, a partridge in a pear tree. No one at TB seems to know. They do there, what they do best, guess, and act stupidly. All I know is, I play one of the lowest priced Epi basses, with my loved SG body, and one Humbucking, that pounds so heavy I need to turn the volume down. I'm glad I guess, my EB-0 is a 2018 Indonesian. Image

Well, I know that pickup on the Jack Casady has some sort of impedance selector switch on it, which changes the tone, I guess. Maybe something to do with that. I guess Jack hasn't had any issues with his, or I never read about that happening to him, and apparently his aren't custom jobs. Of course, there's always a chance for a lemon or two to happen from time to time. I don't think any instrument or piece of gear is totally immune from that happening.

Yeah, you do have the cheapest Epiphone bass that they put out. That's something when you think about that, considering how well it's been playing and sounding. 8)

This EB-0 would've have been the one to run through the higher powered amps I had, along the way. Image
