I got a Highway One Jazz bass in Sunburst recently. It has the Nitro lacquer finish. So my question is, which polish should I use to keep it looking nice? Which will work and which wont? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I use Naptha to clean the body, it removes all the oils, sweat, and old wax.
Naptha is actually lighter fluid, dampen a small section of a cloth (cotton or microfiber) the dampness should be more dry than wet. It's powerful stuff, and NEVER use it directly on the body or neck. Just go over the parts to clean and rub fairly lightly, don't use too much elbow grease. If it leaves a haze on the body, just wipe with a clean cloth, it's nothing to worry about.

To polish use Carnauba wax, i use Meguiars "Gold Class" automobile wax, shine that baby up but good.
Fender has a whole kit; http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... c=3SOSWXXA

If you don't want "slap scratches" you might want to look into this.

Or basically any clear vinyl cling type sheet(s).
