Judging by the 3 bolt neck, I'd say somewhere in the mid to late 70's to start with. I had a '77 Jazz Bass that had that type of neck on it. Is there a serial number on the headstock? You can date it from that, usually.

I agree with PaulLF that your jazz is mid to late 1970's. The "00351" that is stamped into the neckplate is not a serial number and not done at the factory. It is something that may be a bit of nefarious subterfuge to mislead a potential buyer. In 1976 the serial numbers transitioned from the neck plates to the headstock. Your bass should have a serial number on the headstock. If it is missing, that means someone has deliberately removed it, and never for a good reason. In America that is illegal. If you post sharp, clear well focused close up photos of both the front and rear of the headstock we could be of further help.
