I do like playing the easy going stuff on it. The Beatles, "Abbey Road" tracks are a fine go to anytime.

I know they actually used a Jazz on the "White Album."

I think Paul used Nylons on several tracks, on different albums as well.

Yeah, on "Abbey Road," especially, from what I've read.

I always thought there were a few on the White Album as well. Especially on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

Have you heard the remastered/remixed version of the "White Album," that came out last year?

No I haven't. Is it that much of a better quality than the original?

Well, you can really hear the bass on it, I think, and other instruments, as well. There's more of a prominence with them. I think it sounds pretty good, but I've only heard it online, and not on CD, or vinyl.

I aways have liked The White Album. I remember when it came out. A long time ago now.

It's had it's 50th anniversary, so yeah, rock music has been around now.

I know I've said it before, but 1969 to me just doesn't seem like it's 50 years gone by. The Beatles didn't actually call it quits until April, or May of 1970.

I have to admit that I'm a bit leery still about doing the DNS 500/1 over the non-DNS 500/1 Hofner.

It doesn't seem that long to me, either, even though I wasn't born until 1971, so technically it was before I was born, but only a couple of years. Then I realize I'm pushing 50, so there you go. It doesn't seem like it, though. Music keeps you young, I think.
