True, you did have the block inlays on it. Did that one actually come with a bag, or anything?

No, it just has the bass on itself. It's a PJ, with the Jazz neck, and the Precision body. The Sea Foam Pearl is a more expensive finish also.

Comparing the Spl. Deluxe Edition PJ, to the Player Jazz, I obviously prefer the all Jazz design. Precision pups never really grabbed my attention as Jazz pups have.

Well, everyone has their own preferences. That's your sound, with D'Addario nylons, of course. I've been kind of floating back and forth with all of that, not really nailing down one particular thing as "my sound" yet. Then again, a large portion of what I've played on does have the Precision and Jazz Bass pickup combination, with four out of seven basses equipped with that. The only ones that don't, are the Squier Jazz, the violin bass, and the Ibanez acoustic bass. I suppose maybe the P & J setup might be it, I'm not sure. I also like humbuckers, and Jazz pickups, too.

It never hurts to have a mixed pups tone. Since you're on stage etc. I just play what I like here.

Black Moto guard contrasts the Polar White/Maple Neck combo to perfection!

I like it too. It has a fine traditional Fender look to it. A kinda' calm, mellow, easy going look to it also.
