Just as I suspected. Image

Yeah, I think dumb decisions are the key for the majority of FUBAR situations you can get into, or other regrets.

I'm thinking about selling the 4003. And possible getting another Fender Spl. Edition PJ. The Seafoam Green Precision with the Maple board, and the Jazz neck on it.

You sure you want to dump the Ric? It's been a good player for you, more so than any other one you've seemed to have had.

I'm thinking about it. If I can enough out of it, it's gone. I know it's one of the nicer 4003's I've had, but it's still not my USA Geddy Lee Jazz.

Well, you did have a good run with it, but if you want to move on, then hopefully what you replace it with will work out as well.

I look at this way, the Fender Special Edition Deluxe PJ Bass is more of a playable bass between the two. Maybe as crazy as it sounds for dropping the 4003, it's a workable plan. I'm not playing the 4003 enough to justify hanging on to it.

It's done. I'm going to pick up the Fender Special Edition Deluxe PJ Bass tomorrow morning.

OK, I hope you got a good deal with the Ric and that. 8)

It's agreeable. I checked my extra strings, and there is a pack of ETB92 Nylons ready for the Special Edition Deluxe PJ Bass. The one at a GC just came two days ago. I'll give it a good eyeball before I do the deal.

Sounds good. 8) By the way, you should get another Jazz to change the title of this thread back to what it was originally. :P I imagine that would confuse anyone willing to read through this thread that pretty much has nothing to do with the topic. :P

I can change the title at anytime. Any suggestions? Or we can just let go.

I probably wouldn't even worry about it, unless you got another bass related to the original topic.
