I haven't ran it again, but the time I did use it, I can tell it's a huge difference in sound. Way above what I thought of the Orange.

Excellent! In love seeing a player get an amp that is an upgrade for his, or her playing. An old Roadie's opinion here, thank God you sold the Orange head. I was sincerely hoping you weren't going to get stuck with it if you really didn't want to hang on to it.

Yeah, I think it was good timing all around. Someone wanted it, but offered a lower amount, they put it on sale so I could take that amount, and I still came out ahead, because I still got more for it than I paid for it originally, yet I technically sold it still for dirt cheap, compared to what you'd typically get it for. It was some weird fluke that I got for it what I did in the first place. That's why I even got it in the first place.

The way I look at that transaction, you didn't lose any bucks on it, and it's gone.

Plus, they were happy with what they got, which was good. It probably works better for them, than me, at least tonally speaking. The amp did work quite well, but I'm much happier with the tones I get from the Ampeg.

That's sounds like a pretty much win, win, situation. A hell of a lot better than getting stuck with a head was ok, but you didn't really want in the end.

Yeah, it's always good when things work out like that. 8)

That's about it too. Timing is everything on finding the right buyer for most things.

Yeah, I almost passed on that guy, because he offered only $500 for the Orange, but then AMS put it on sale, so there you go. I couldn't have done it, if they didn't do that.

At the right time, at the right place. You really were fortunate to do as well as you did with the whole thing about the Orange. And then acquiring the Ampeg seems to have sealed the entire deal.

Yeah, now I'm looking forward to actually using the damned thing. It's been almost a year since I've played a live gig, but it doesn't mean I wasn't doing anything. Things have been busy, especially with a new album coming out, videos, etc. I also help my girlfriend with that stuff. I filmed her last video. We were originally going to do a show, but decided to hold off on that. There was no point to it until we have something to promote, which is the album, and we didn't want to play any of the songs until it comes out. There's something very big planned for this, which I'm not allowed to talk about yet.

Very good. Smart move to keep things in place until you're ready to let everything out at once.

That, and don't make dumb decisions when it comes to gear in the first place.
