I forgot, I used that years ago on old cabinet screw holes in our first house in Pompano Bch., FL.

I'm looking forward to the Black Moto PG coming in on Wed., for the Am. Pro. I still haven't seen much of a difference still between the old Am. Std., and the Am. Pro. One thing may be a bit of a difference, would be the V pups, compared to the CS60's. I honestly can't be sure though because of the amp it's playing through.

Well, the price is different, but there's nothing new about that happening.

You got that right! They didn't mind hitting mine up an extra $50. Buckeroos for the Rosewood fretboard either. I always liked Maple with the Olympic White, and this is my first Olympic White with the Rosewood. I like it. I have Maple on the GL Jazz, and that's fine. One other thing on the Am. Pro., I honestly can say, I don't notice the Narrow Tall frets feel, as compared to the Medium Jumbo frets on the GL, and the Mustang.

The Black Moto PG came in today, a day early. So I changed out the PG. I'm up in the air as to weather I like the Mint Green, or the Black Moto.

The original Mint Green won out. The Mint Green has the lighter, almost a with hue to it. Image

I don't get into using those parts. They just get in the way of my playing style. I like the looks of those parts, but that's about it.

I like playing the Am. Pro. Jazz as an every day player. Trying different things with it, etc.

Yeah, it is. The Rosewood, and the Olympic White is really different for me, and I like the way it goes together. I doesn't hurt that the Rosewood on it looks decent too. It's a nice mellow bass, but the GL is a monster. This GL has solidified my saying, I think for me, it's the top Fender Jazz, if not the best Fender bass.

I've been putting some time in, here and there with the Squier Jazz, and I have to agree about the Jazz, even though it's not as nice as a US model, I'm sure. It's still a hell of a player, and it does play well with going from the violin bass. There's a part of me that has contemplated seeing if anyone would trade a Squier Jazz for my Precision, although I already have one. It's something I've toyed around with, but then again it's not like the Precision is a bad bass, either. The neck is a little wider, and it's a bit heavier than the Jazz, but it does sound and play good. Maybe I shouldn't be so hasty. I might come around to it again.

I agree with you about Jazzes in general. I've been down the Precision's road, and for my playing a Jazz works for me.

If I were to able to get another Jazz, I'm thinking that one with a maple board would be ideal, since I already have a rosewood one. Squier has a couple of those with the 70's style models.

Even if the old myth about the differences inbound doesn't float, I would be cool to have a maple board. Maple doesn't dry out like Rosewood does.
