The Orange weighs in around 11 pounds, too. You couldn't say that about those huge tube amps back in the day, as I know you know all too well. Now, if they can cut the cab weight down, that's a bonus. :P Actually, I'd say they really have over the years. There are a lot lighter options out there, I think.

Those older tube amps were monsters. a Marshall 100 head weighed in at just over 100 pounds. a lot of fun mounting them on top of two 412 cabs for the full stack.
