It should say somewhere in the neck. IIRC it's an MIA.

Probably MIA but there are a few Jaco type Fenders that are MIJ.

Your serial number will tell you all.

" T(XXXXXX) - Tribute series instruments"

Under the MIA category so it's a US guitar :)

The Jaco models are only made in the USA. Fender Japan has a '62 RI Jazz fretless that looks close mainly because it does not come with the pickguard installed, but it is not considered a "Jaco" model.

BUT, that Fender Japan model is a great bass! I have one and I love it! Here it is. Don't let the chrome P-Bass knobs throw you off, I changed them from the standard black plastic jazz knobs.

oh yeah! That is a nice bass! I first got a Squier Vintage modified Fretless and I enjoyed it so much so I upgraded it and got a MIM FENDER STANDARD SERIES Jazz Bass® Fretless (Upgrade)

The Jaco bass of doom is in my future wish list!

love the "F" hat BTW
