Oh, OK. Wasn't that the bass you had the issue with, then? With the fretboard?

Yes, that was the one. The tool marks on it were hard to see, but they were there.

I remember that now. That was pretty messed up, considering it wasn't suppose to be a cheap bass, or whatever.

I had never had an issue with any Fender fretboards until that one. And that was supposed to be one of the better ones. BURPPPP!

It was a shame that about a $1,500. Fender MIA, had the QC less than an MIM Standard fretless.

I agree, considering you could have bought at least two MIM ones for that price.

Very right about that. A G&L would have cost about $1,200., made up to my specs.

Yeah, those are really decent basses, too. It's all Leo Fender designs, and I don't think they've deviated from that too much.

G&L really are fine. They just don't have the dealer base for their product to be seen, ordered, etc. A shame.

Yeah, they don't seem to be as prolific as Fender is, oddly enough.

The parts are a bit better overall though. QC can definitely be better most of the time too.

Yeah, I've even heard their cheaper, import line was decent, as well.
